All-Terrain Sunscreen Giveaway and Review

I have been checking out sunscreens on Environmental Working Group or EWG for several years now. Little did I realize I could be putting harmful chemicals on my babies. (or children they will always be my babies)
I might be paying a little more for sunscreen now but I feel I am putting more natural and less harmful products on them. Don’t worry not all the brands are organic and only found on line,  you can find some larger name brands on the lower scale that you can find easily at any store.
When offered a chance to review and host a giveaway for All Terrain, I signed right up.

AquaSport SPF 30 was just rated the top sunscreen in the June 2012 Consumer Report Sunscreen report. The company’s other sunscreens scored high in the June Sunscreen report issued by the Environmental Working Group, which looks for products that are not harmful to children or the environment.

AquaSport SPF 30 is oxybenzone-free and has full-spectrum protection from UVA (skin cancer) and UVB (sunburn) rays. With non-nano and un-coated zinc oxide, it is natural, non-whitening, non-greasy and fragrance free Lotion or Spray that will not cause eye stinging. It is water and sweat resistant and is proven to be effective after 80 minutes in water.
Two of my children, ironically the ones that are most susceptible to sunburn, went to an all day, outdoor camp this week. They will be in the water kayaking and swimming so I know they will be putting the All Terrain AQUASPORT sunscreen to the test.

I love that the sunscreen does not have any additional scent to it. It comes out bright white and not runny but it is very smooth.

As you can see it blends right into their skin, unlike some sunscreens that leave a white residue….see below.

On the first day of camp, the counselors even asked one of my kids if they applied sunscreen as they could not see it.

Well after a 9 hour, 90 degree and sunny day outside, neither of my children came home burnt. I will disclose that they did reapply once during the day with another sunscreen provided by the camp.

I will continue to buy this product and I am interested in the stick variety as well. I am not sure how easy it is to find All Terrain products at stores in your area but it will be worth getting an extra supply next time you place an order All Terrain AquaSport SPF30 . Check out All terrain’s website to help you find a local store.
