Amazing Peanut Butter Cookies with Chocolate Chunks
Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening or butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. sifted AP flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 -3/4 cup chopped up chocolate
Instructions
- Mix shortening, peanut butter, sugars, and egg thoroughly.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Combining both mixtures. Mix Well.
- Mix in the chocolate pieces
- Cover and Chill for at least 1 hr
- Preheat oven to 375'
- Roll into balls, (or use a ice cream scoop) place on greased cookie sheet, then flatten with fork.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
