Feeling Berry Bubbly Drink Recipe for SoFabCon

I have been blogging for over 4 years and now I am finally getting the nerve to take it to the next level and attend a conference. I am thrilled to be attending SOFABCON as I feel it is a good conference to get my feet wet. I am told it is smaller and less focused on meeting brands and more on becoming a better blogger. Really I am feeling berry bubbly about all the excitement around this event in May. Wondering how this recipe helps my progress for the Feeling SoFabulous journey.

I have decided to take the plunge with the NickMom Group from SoFab who will be hosting a PJ party one of the nights of the SoFabCon conference. They are asking members to submit a drink that exemplifies thier feelings about attending SoFabCon. Being that SoFabCon is my first conference,  I am sure I will have butterflies in my stomach for meeting folks but also excited to get all the information I am so far behind. This is why I have named this drink, Feeling Berry Bubbly. I originally was going to call this drink Orange you berry glad you left the kids, but someone took a similar route. Any guesses what is inside?

First clue: Berry. Strawberries are pretty prolific in the grocery store so that is why I chose to puree a few in a blender with a bit of water.

Second Clue: Orange Juice,  well really not in the title but that is the second ingredient in this drink. I think this is pretty enough to drink for SoFabCon 14 don’t you?

Third and final clue: Bubbly- Prosecco is what I will be serving up today.

Could not be simpler and yet quiet refreshing. I like sparkling wine but straight up gets boring, so that is why I have combined these flavors for a fun way to calm your nerves. It is so much easier to put yourself out there and meet new people when you have a little liquid courage. Ok that might have to be my next drink! I have a bunch of other great adult drink ideas on the blog,  I wish Watermelon was in season.

Either way, I am looking forward to getting away by myself, no offense family, but when I headed to Reynolds Real Moms it was great to pack for myself, worry about feeding only myself and waking up when I wanted to. This is no vacation, don’t get me wrong I know we will be working hard both professionally and socially:)

  1. I’ve made a similar drink before without the sparkling wine, super refreshing. I bet the sparkling wine adds a fun twist, and would be perfect for brunch.

  2. Looks awesome and great for the summer. Thanks for sharing with us.

  3. This looks so fancy. I would serve this at a party

  4. This looks so fruity and delicious. A great way to welcome spring.

  5. Wow! I have to try this! Pinned!

  6. I love this idea, not sure why but I always fall flat trying to come up with something out side the normal box when serving beverages for our guests. I love watermelon.

  7. Know what? Sometimes that’s all you need – time away from the kids. I’m one of those parents who doesn’t even miss her kids when she’s away, but when I get home I love and appreciate them SO much more. For like half a day and then things return to normal. Clink! Cheers!

  8. What a delicious drink that looks fancy, but is so easy to make!

  9. This looks amazing and so, so pretty!! I wish I was going to SoFabCon this year. I’d love to go, but I’m already going to the Food and Wine Conference and I’m not sure I can swing two sets of travel arrangements. LOL (Even if it does mean TWO breaks from the kids!) haha
    I hope you have fun!!

  10. Oh those look so good and refreshing for summer! YUM
