Halloween is by far one of my favorite holidays, at least it was when my kids were little and I would throw a party for the preschoolers. However, now that all the kids are school age, I have not thrown that party in years. Making up these fun Halloween Pudding Cup crafts made me think back to all the festive food and games I came up with each Halloween. I think I should host this party again, however I am not sure the kids are into the cutsie Halloween themes anymore. I do know they are totally into the yummy pudding flavors disquised under these Halloween characters.

Despite their age I know they will go crazy for the Hershey’s Pudding Cups, especially in the new S’mores flavor. As a Mom, knowing they are found in the Dairy Section of Walmart, suggests they are a more rich, creamy, high quality snack option than those found in the regular shelves. Plus since Hershey’s makes them, you know the product is made with real Hershey’s cocoa.

Back to creating this yummy snack into a fun Halloween Party food. This quick transformation of basic yet flavorful snack into a  fun Halloween Craft/ Snack takes only minutes. Older kids who can safely use a hot glue gun, can get creative and pitch in too. Younger kids can use the self adhesive craft items to create something.

What you need to transform Hershey’s Pudding Cups into Halloween Crafts:

how to make pudding cups

First take the Pudding cups out of the cardboard packaging and flip them upside down. (DO NOT OPEN THEM!!)

For the Halloween Party Pudding Spiders: Cut 4 pipe cleaners in half. Put some hot glue on one side, add the spider legs. Repeat with the other side. Bend the pipe cleaners to look like spider legs. IMG_5901

Add eyes and your spider is complete.

For the Halloween Party Pudding Bats: cut out the wings and adhere them to the pudding cups. Add eyes and you are done

For the mummies: wrap the gauze around the pudding cups using a dab of hot glue. Add eyes.

For the Cat: Cut out ear, nose and 1 inch pieces of pipe cleaners. I noticed the regular sharpies did not do that well writing on the cold cups, so maybe paint markers or metallic would work better.
