Our Golden Retriever Chloe has become my 4th child, 5th if you count my husband. (he doesn’t read my blog right!)
When it comes to holidays, we feel just as obliged to buy our dog a present as we do our people children. This is only natural right?
Although my dog chews apart every single stuffed toy we have ever given her, I am thrilled to buy her a Luv-A-Pet from Petsmart. Not because they are more durable then other plush dog toys on the market, but for each toy or item sold for the Luv a Pet PetSmart donates 10% of the sales of these items to PetSmart Charities in the US and Canada to help save homeless pets.
This is wonderful, Chloe is entertained for a few days and another dog is given a second chance.
A reason to buy a dog toy or garment from the PetSmart Luv A Pet collection, don’t you think? The pet toys are also reasonably priced under $10.
They carry a cute line of dog shirts and sweaters, but not large enough for our 65 lb golden retriever.
Check out this adorable shirt for your pet this Valentine’s Day. Don’t worry if you don’t get there before Valentine’s Day you can still help this great cause after the Holiday.
It’s the first time ever that the Luv-a-Pet line is available beyond the holiday season! This Valentine’s, give something that gives back. And whose heart wouldn’t melt for Pink and Heart Shaped Cat Toys, Caterpillar and Bug Dog Toys, Cupid and Bow Tie Themed Dog Socks, Heart and Arrow Themed Hair Bows, Dog Bow Ties, Animal Dog Toys with Heart Bellies, Ball Toys for Dogs and adorable Dresses and Tees.
Check them out on PetSmart’s website or at your local store.
To honor or dogs or cats this Valentine’s Day Close to Home is giving away an assortment of toys up to the value of $20! Ends 2/20.
Chloe was provided a few samples to review. No other further compensation was provided. All the opinions expressed are humans interpreting a dog and 100% our own.
