Slow Cooker Dinners: Crock Pot Hawaiian Sliders

I am a member of the #CollectiveBias  Social Fabric® Community. This shop about #EasyPrepMeals has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser. Dinner time seems to come so quickly at our house. Before I know it I have 3 hungry kids who need to be in 3 different places in an hour. My slow cooker has really come to my rescue. However, let’s not kid ourselves, sometimes I don’t have the energy to even think about dinner ideas like, what type of seasonings or sauces I plan on using on my meat I have in the freezer. Thanks to Campbell’s Sauces for coming up with these and making slow cooker dinners a breeze, like these Hawaiian Sliders.

While shopping at our Martin’s Store, a Giant brand, I ran across these new Campbell’s Sauces. At our Giant Store, they  were in the Sauces section, next to their new counterpart Campbell’s  Skillet Sauces. Plus they were on sale for just $2 a bag. What an easy choice for dinner tonight.

I was most intrigued by the Hawaiian Luau sauce. I guess I was having flash backs from my honeymoon and hoping these flavors would take me back there. I also had some frozen chicken in the freezer and found these Hawaiian Rolls. But which condiment would I add to these sandwiches? When you think of pulled pork or chicken sandwiches you think Cole Slaw but I could not imagine that combo here, so I picked up some Pineapple, very Hawaiian, to make some Pineapple Salsa.

For this slow cooker dinners solution, preparation could not have been simpler. Simply dump your chicken into the slow cooker, I used a crock pot liner to save time in clean up. Then Dump your Campbell’s Slow Cooker Sauce over the chicken and cook per the directions. I told you this was easy, you could even do this before having your coffee!

Once the chicken is cooked, use potato masher and shred the chicken for sandwiches. You could use smaller sized chicken breasts and hamburger sized buns and serve it more like a chicken sandwich too.

For the Pineapple Salsa Recipe, I simply cut up the pineapple into small pieces, added some red and orange bell pepper, red onion and cilantro. Done! Allow it to sit for a while to allow all the flavors to meld.
