Unforgettable Dad/ Son Moments w/ Gillette Mach3 SE

This post about unforgettable dad/son moments with Gillette Mach3 SE is sponsored by VocalPoint, P&G & Gillette. All opinions are 100% my own. My brother was four years older than me, so I do not remember the first time he was taught how to shave or even allowed to shave my dad.

Now that I am a mother of two boys, I will be able to document this time of their lives as these are memories they will cherish the rest of their lives. Although my boys are only 12 and 10 they have a few years before they start shaving, its never too early to learn some self-care tips.

I mean really, they can use all the help they can get. No worries no child was shaved in this post, my husband used the opposite side of the razor.

My husband has always used the same brand of razors, Gillette, and is thrilled when I come home from a Costco trip with a large pack of his favorite razors, Gillette Mach3 SE, sold exclusively at Costco.

A good razor is so important but for men especially as women can hide any redness they may get with long pants, men can’t cover their faces. The Gillette Mach3 Signature Razor features 3 blades with an advanced anti-friction coating that helps remove each hair with less irritation. This means Dad will have touchably soft skin and a shave that’s up to 100% redness-free.

I had not been a member at Costco for a couple of years and it was not until I reintroduced these razors that my husband shared just how much he preferred shaving with them.

For reasons unknown to me, my husband and boys decided to have that first shaving moment together. Lucky for me, I was home to capture it on film. Good thing we had plenty of Glilette Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 Shave gel on had too.

There were so many giggles during this morning of prep and learning it was wonderful to be a witness. I think mainly because the boys were not shaving my husband!

It is hard to imagine these sweet boys will soon be shaving for themselves. I am not sure I am ready for that stage in my life. for as much as we wish them to grow up, some things are hard to accept. Maybe because it means I am getting older too, or I just will miss the innocence of their childhood.

While the boys and their dad share many father/ son moments on the lacrosse field or fishing there was something so special about learning to shave.

I know they will need tutorials in a couple of years, but I think those will be filled with less laughter. At least they know that the Gillette Mach3 razors will keep them redness free when they walk into school the first morning after shaving.
