If you have been following this series there are a few women who have committed to writing posts about our goals as we approach attending the SoFabCon Conference over Mother’s Day Weekend. For me this is my first conference and I was feeling a little jittery but committed to find time to exercise in some capacity each day, this long winter has dragged me down in that area.
I have been playing tennis twice a week, attending a spin class once a week, taking a long walk with the dog at least 2 times a week and then filling in the other day with a work out video or heading to the gym. I was feeling great but to true Maria nature I twisted my ankle playing tennis. While I am walking thru the pain it still is bothersome and walk on it with caution.
Not a good way to continue my goal to live this well-balanced lifestyle. I was recently challenged through my Aveeno ambassadorshipto try something for 3 weeks. I have vowed to do 30 minutes of relaxation or yoga each day. I believe that is what is keeping me from this well-balanced life because my old muscles tighten up with the exercise and have no way to relax. My post about that will be coming soon.
So as I approach my jitters for my first conference I have been surprised with two new occasions to test my nerves even before SoFabCon. My first Suburban Tennis match and a trip to Cincinnati for a P&G Love the Pet, Not the Mess Conference. This was an invite only event and I have yet to find anyone I know who is going. I guess this will be a true test if I am feeling SoFabulous!! IF you are going please comment below so we can chat!!
Thanks once again for reading how I am continuing to struggle to get a balanced family and blog life and reaching out of my comfort zone on both. Be sure and check on the other amazing women taking on this journey with me!!
