I realize we are 6 months away from Halloween but that is not the only time you might be looking for a costume. School aged kids always needvto dress up for various book reports, plays and programs. If you can not find one to borrow, how do you find well made yet inexpensive costumes all year long?
Today I am dressed for a Ren Faire, aka The Renaissance Faire or The Renaissance Festival, dressed in a Black Queen Costume compliments of WholesaleHalloweenCostumes.com. When taking these pictures I told the family I really needed a large turkey leg to chomp on! I did really feel like I was in the Renaissance Period.
I purchased the costume in an XS. I am 5′ 3″ and it fit perfectly. I always worry about costumes being too long and dragging behind me. Which usually results in a ruined costume. This fit perfectly.
WHAT I LIKED: It was well made considering the reasonable price. I loved the simplicity of the dress but it looks authentic.
COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT: The crown was a little flimsy. Because it was made out of material, the top accents sort of drooped. Not sure how I would fix that when I want to wear it out. Also the sash was stiff and not sure what the point of this was.
Here is the packaging and think it resembled the packaging and fit perfectly.
I was provided a product to review and provide an honest opinion. I was not compensated and was not asked to give a positive review. All the opinions expressed are 100% my own.
