I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Influence Central for Vanity Fair. I received product samples to facilitate my review and compensation to thank me for my participation.
This past week I had the amazing opportunity to join 25 other bloggers as part of the Vanity Fair Women Who Do Blogger Summit. I was not sure what to expect but thrilled to learn more about the Vanity Fair Lingerie products as well as their amazing partnership with Dress for Success. Vanity Fair has been around for nearly 100 years and they focus on akin style and comfort effortless for every woman. We learned how Vanity Fair offers feminine and beautiful lingerie available in styles that are on-trend yet very comfortable
The amazing touches this group put into this conference started with the hotel accommodations. We were put up in the Refinery Hotel which is an amazing boutique hotel in the garment district. Just look at the extra touches the Refinery Hotel has, just makes you smile. It was modern, especially clean, and the check in staff were so amazing.
Next was the the welcome gift in our rooms that were so personalized we were all amazed at this thoughtfulness.
Dinner was at ABC Kitchen where we enjoyed family style dinner with food so fresh I was in absolute heaven. I could have stopped at the fresh ricotta cheese with strawberry compote but the food just kept coming. As a foodie I would highly recommend this restaurant when visiting NYC. Look once again at the simple touches that made each of us feel so special. We listened to Joanna Beddingfield, Vice President of Brand Management for Vanity Fair Brands, spoke about the past, present and future of Vanity Fair.
Early to bed for an early morning rise and a visit to the Fruit of Loom offices to get an “intimate’ look at the Vanity Fair Lingerie products. We learned a wealth of information about some of their best sellers as well as a sneak peak at some products to be launched for the holidays. (SO excited to share these with you with the time comes, I mean thrilled at the innovation Vanity Fair has come up with in women’s lingerie)
After learning about all the amazing products, both bras and undies, we headed to Macy’s for a bra fitting by Vanity Fair Employees who are expert bra fitters. Ironically I was downgraded from my last bra fitting last year, but we all had a chuckle. (Have not given the hubby the bad news yet).
As part of the program I was able to pick a few bras, I felt most comfortable in the Vanity Fair Body Caress Bra, both an underwire and wire free variety, and the Illumination bikini panties. I will be sharing a full review after wearing them for one month but I could not have been happier to have fresh undergarments after my flight was canceled and had to spend an extra night in NYC. (I was able to stay at The Refinery Hotel again so with clean underwear and an amazing hotel this was not considered an inconvenience Husband did not feel the same).
We were provided with so much information, including Vanity Fair’s involvement with Dress for Success.
I will be sharing it for the next 6 months and hope you will follow along. I am not a fashion blogger nor do I pretend to be one. My bras are probably 10 years old and new underwear is purchased maybe yearly. Did you know 80% of all women wear the wrong size bra? That can be a game changer depending on the top or dress you are wearing. Let’s face it ladies, we need to be more aware of how we display our breasts.
I feel so luck to be part of this partnership with Vanity Fair Lingerie and hope you enjoy our posts for the next few months.
