For example, my husband and I might order sushi if he gets home late on a Friday night, if the kids are around they are like scavengers just waiting for us to give them a piece. We decided to try out luck for a quick date night dessert of the new Breyer’s Gelato Indulgences.

I found some at our Kroger, when I say some, only 4 were left in their freezer area, and not in the normal ice cream section. I grabbed all four knowing I would love them without even trying them. This way I might just share with my kids. For our date night I chose to open the triple chocolate flavor. Full of both dark milk and white chocolate everyone will be satisfied. True to any gelato shop, the top was even covered with chocolate shavings. I love the fact that they had the dark and milk chocolate separated. One spoon for me and one spoon for the hubs….

Ok we are a little more civilized than that. Well sometimes. I scooped up a generous portion of the Breyers Gelato Indulgences in a nice dessert glass, it was date night after all.

 

Before we could even start into our glass, I had someone lurking in the back smacking his lips in hopes of getting a taste.

I have always loved Gelato since experiencing it in College for the first time, while traveling to Italy. I love all the amazing and fresh flavors and I love that it is the perfect combination of rich ice cream and soft serve ice cream. Glad I bought several flavors so in true Italian Fashion we can fill our cones with multiple flavors.
