Incredibly Easy Peanut Butter Fudge Sundae Pie Recipe

Once the weather turns warm, you can always find a few gallons of ice cream in my freezer. It is an easy dessert but my kids love to make milkshakes, ice cream cakes and ice cream pies. For my son’s birthday this past weekend, I thought I would make him a Peanut Butter Fudge Sundae Pie using the new Blue Bunny® PB ‘N Cones™.

Ice cream pies take no time and are so much cheaper to make at home than buying them at a store, plus they are a highlight to any summer BBQ or party.

The Blue Bunny ice cream has the texture of soft serve ice cream. Check out the inside of our carton as you can see the swirls of peanut butter.

You will want the ice cream a little soft for spreading, plan on about 10 minutes at room temperature. The Blue bunny ice cream is so creamy any so yummy with peanut butter swirls and chocolate covered cone pieces.

Now for the super easy directions on how to make an ice cream pie. Layer half of the ice cream into the graham cracker pie crust and smooth over slightly.

Spread half of the hot fudge onto the layer of ice cream.

Finish off the ice cream pie by adding the rest of the ice cream on top of the fudge and place in the freezer immediately. You can do this in steps and freeze it each time but it worked out just fine for me doing it all at once.

After an hour or so, heat up the remaining hot fudge and place it in a plastic bag or piping bag. Pipe the fudge in a pattern and then immediately sprinkle the chocolate covered peanut and peanut butter chocolate candies and place back into the freezer.

When you are ready to serve the ice cream pie, simply slice the pie and add a dollop of Reddi-Wip® original whipped topping to each slice.

Summer is officially here in the Long house and we might even share a slice if there is any left. Pin this for later and head to Walmart for all the ingredients.

Ice cream pie is a great entertaining recipe,  as you can make these ahead of time for a summertime party too. Just cover the ice cream pie tightly with plastic wrap.

I might even wait to add the final fudge until you are ready to serve so it does not stick to the plastic wrap. Either way, when you serve this Peanut Butter Fudge Sundae Pie Recipe your friends will ask for seconds.
