One Stop Back to School Shopping

This post about one stop back to school shopping is sponsored by Vocalpoint and Dick’s Sporting Goods. All opinions are my own.

When it comes to back to school shopping boys and girls are so different. My daughter would go shopping everyday if I asked, while my boys would rather do yard work. Not 100% true, but when I announced the other day, “let’s go back to school shopping”, I heard a lot of moans and excuses why they could not go. They were just watching TV etc when I asked and knew it was time to get out of the house! Once I said, we are doing our back to school shopping at Dick’s Sporting Goods, they all perked up.

The boys especially like it when we head to a certain Dick’s Sporting Goods that allows us to bring our dog.

One Stop Back to School Shopping

I had already ordered the school supplies online so this was a back to school shopping trip to update their wardrobes. What kid would not be excited to hit Dick’s Sporting goods for back to shopping. My boys love the golf shirt selection there and they were having a BOGO sale the day we went.

They have a bunch of different back packs for even the pickiest kids.

Every year we get new socks and underwear. You can get all of that at Dick’s Sporting goods as well.

Our Back to school shopping list always includes new athletic shoes. Well that is the obvious reason why we chose Dick’s Sporting Goods.

We are Score members so after all the coupons we used, I think we got at least one of their golf shirts free.

The reward for getting through all of our clothes shopping was browsing all the sports equipment. We head to Dick’s Sporting goods almost weekly when sports begin. Someone needs a new mouth guard or has grown out of their spikes. The boys are all set for the beginning of school and it was not to straining on me. Trust me, Taking an almost 15-year-old girl back to school shopping requires a lot of wine afterward!

With all the basics taken care of at Dick’s, this mom will enjoy the last few days before school starts.

  1. What great finds!!!! We love shopping at Docks! I’m always finding stuff for my daughter and hubby there!

  2. Wow, nice shop! My son will be in the school by next year. I am a little bit nervous and excited at the same time.

  3. I don’t have to shop for boys, but to enjoy shopping at my local Dick’s! I didn’t know we could take our dog, though!

  4. With four kids one stop shopping is a must for me!! You got some great finds, I know that my boys would be all over it.

  5. I have daughters and they are grown so we no longer do back to school. Back when they were younger, Target was a favorite. We still love to go there and elsewhere including Dick’s store.

  6. My brother hated (and still does!) shopping. Got it from my dad most like. Maybe it’s a matter of finding the right store like Dick’s!

  7. My son always hates going shopping so I just buy his clothes when he’s not with me. haha He’s only 9 so I can still get away with it. 🙂 He’s not very picky, though, and I know his style. Makes it a little easier. 🙂

  8. I never even thought about Dick’s for back to school! What a great idea- get everyone from kids to parents ready!

  9. I’m sure Dick’s Sporting Goods would be a great place to take boys for back-to-school shopping since they can check out the sporting goods at the same time! I don’t think they have one in Canada.
