This post about Berry and Greek Yogurt Parfait is made possible with the promotional materials provided by Honey Bunches of Oats. All the opinions expressed our 100% my own. When you have overnight guests, breakfasts can still be simple but full of nutrition and elegant. We had overnight guests for my son’s First Holy Communion this past weekend and I decided to let folks put together their own Yogurt parfait.
While I love adding granola to a yogurt Parfait, we thought we would test out Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy Cinnamon Crunch, giving it an extra boost of protein, fiber and whole grain. Along with the Greek Yogurt and fresh berries for even greater boost of protein to keep the whole family full. The fresh berries are packed with vitamins and antioxidants and are a great way to start the day.
If you are in a hurry you can wash and cut the berries the night before but I would not do this much earlier than that. Place the toppings in individual bowls and have cute glasses out for the guests to create their breakfast. I love these ice cream glasses for parfaits too.
The kids had fun putting all their yogurt parfait together and I loved that they were eating a high protein breakfast to get them through the morning of sports.
The Honey Bunches of Oats is delicious with milk as well. We are a cereal and milk family so knowing they get a little extra protein makes this mom super happy.
