Fashion and Comfort found in Earth Footwear

You know you are getting older when you start looking for shoes based on comfort more than fashion. Since I turned 40, not only has my body changed, but I have also been having issues with my feet. No longer can I wear totally flat, archless-but-fashionable shoes all day. Those days are gone. I now look for comfort and color thanks to Earth Footwear.

In my search for a cute pair of black flats, I grew frustrated as nothing quite fit my foot correctly—or if they fit, they were not comfortable. I chose to try the Pilot shoes from Earth Brands, a new shoe in their fall collection. Since they were a Mary-Jane style, I knew they would stay on my feet if too large. Just look at the description on their website; it had me intrigued.

I have a narrow heel, so my first concern was whether I would slip out of them. Nope! It was as if I had found my Cinderella slipper—my foot fit perfectly in the size 8 regular (my normal size). With just a slight heel, they will complement both pants and a skirt.

The design on the Mary Jane flap is just subtle enough not to stand out, while creating a unique look. They even come in four fall colors, so I might buy another color to add to my collection.     Wow, I am a huge fan of earth brand since findin them on QVC.
    Love their on air host Sherri Combs too..such a hoot.
    I should pick the sandals but need new boots.

    And, I would have a hard time picking which one with all those great options. Heron and Passage are the 2 which caught my eye to wear with slacks or skirts.

    I totally agree that midlife often means shoes that are comfortable compared to fashionable. I need to look for the Earth shoes as they sound perfect for me, too.

    My sentiments exactly. I’ve got to have comfortable shoes at all times. I might wear high heels at a nice function – you know …that time I met you….but that’s about it. I like those shoes too!!

    There are so many to choose from! Probably the Elderberry, Monarch, Pilot or Sabina. Most likely in brown.

    I love Thyme in Almond! I got away from heels when I injured my ankle – I had no idea how much I had been damaging my feet and calves, etc., until I got far away from heels and flats not good for your feet. I’ve been looking for a favorite company to get shoes good for my feet that are attractive – wow does this site fit the bill!!! I want to tell everyone young, too, how much it is not good to wear those heels, or even “flat” flats – just wear them for a few hours you won’t be walking, but other than that, get nice shoes like this you will be glad you did!
