While Amazon has thousands of holiday gift ideas for anyone on your list, making you the hero this year, it will come to the rescue for last minute entertaining needs. We put together this quick and festive Christmas Tree Cheese Tray and fun dessert tray without leaving our home.
Day Before guests arrive:
This year, it’s time to celebrate (not stress about) the holidays! With low prices, vast selection, innovative ways to shop when and where you want, and convenient doorstep delivery Amazon has you covered this holiday. Also, all Amazon customers in the U.S. can enjoy free shipping through December 18 (no minimum purchase amount) for orders that arrive in time for Christmas – shop hundreds of millions of items!
We purchased two of these adorable Rivet Modern Stone and Wood Tray a Kurt Adler 50-count Twinkle Fairie Light Set to use for our cheese plate and dessert. They are the perfect size to meet your hosting needs.
All of our food trays were then placed out on our table and topped with this Christmas Plaid Tablecloth that came in so many adorable plaids to fit your room decor.
Day the Guests Arrive
With just a few clicks, the items we needed for the Christmas Tree Cheese Plate were ordered and delivered from Whole Foods via Prime Now in under 2 hours. In fact you can get all the food and drink items you need (including wine!) for entertaining last-minute guests.
To make the Christmas Tree Cheese Platter
Cut up the cheese blocks into small cubes. Wash and dry the grape tomatoes.
Simply lay out the cheese and tomatoes into a triangle shape. We even cut a star out of a slice of cheese we had in the fridge. If you are making this ahead of time, wrap it up with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator.
When ready to serve, separate the layers with fresh rosemary we had delivered in our order.
Serve the Tree platter with some rice crackers. And then, enjoy spending time with your guests because it just took minutes to put together your centerpiece snack tray!
To Make Dessert Platter
Since Amazon Prime members can get free same-day delivery and one-day shipping on three million items in 10,000 cities and towns, we ordered a few boxes of Lindt LINDOR Assorted Chocolate Gourmet Truffles, Gift Box, Kosher, 7.3 Ounce one to serve to our guests and others to give as hostess gifts this season.
Simply place these elegant truffles out on the tray lit with the Fairie lights and your guests can enjoy a festive, sweet treat, and all you did was open a box!

That cheese platter is just the cutest! I thought Amazon Prime saved me just with 2 days shipping, Prime Now is just downright miraculous! Love it!
I’m so jealous that you can do Amazon Prime Now! That would save me SO many times, so I’m anxious for it to be in our area. I will remember it for vacations though!
