Just because winter is over does not mean you have to pack up your boots, at least not in the UK where ankle boots are taking over the closets and wardrobes well into spring.

A pair of well made and flattering ankle boots rarely will keep you in style and due to their versatility, can be paired with a whole host of different outfits from a sharp shift dress or pair of skinny jeans.
However, when spending the money on a pair of ankle boots, practicality to your stage of life is very important too. Go with the lower heal if carrying a toddler in stilletos just wont work.

I have an older pair of ankle boots, a little over the ankle,that I often paired with skinning cords as well as leggings this winter when I was looking for a more dressed up look. Ankle boots are replacing stilettos in many closets for many reasons and comfort might be high on that list.
