The last Pillsbury Bake Off Contest Recipe I made has been a keeper in my house, check out  this Chicken Enchilada Quiche Recipe.  To think such simple recipes can be worth 1 million dollar is unbelievable until you taste them. So what should I make to get everyone excited about the 47th Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest? My husband was the brains behind this new recipe, I just had to execute it.

You can only use 7 ingredients and they are specific as to what 2 ingredients you must include. Since we love donuts at the house and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, why not use Pillsbury biscuits for donuts, fry them in some Crisco Oil and flavor them with Jif Peanut Butter and Smuckers Jelly. (see already hit many sponsors)

Heat your oil to 350 degrees and start frying your biscuits. I tried the honey Jrs because we love Peanut butter and honey. I flattened them out slightly.

Cook until browned on both sides. Allow to cool on a a rack with paper towel underneath.

Dip one side into the peanut butter glaze and sprinkle with some chopped peanuts if desired. (you could use different types of nut butters depending on allergies)

Wait for the glaze to set and enjoy. These are best eaten the day you make them.

  1. I just made these for my family. I used the honey biscuits and the peter pan creamy honey peanut butter for the glaze with raspberry jam. OMG I loved them. I was afraid to make them but my daughters insisted and I am so glad they came across you picture on pinterest lol. I also used milk instead of water for my glaze.
