How to Make Breakfast Pastries from Puff Pastry
****Be sure the pastry dough is thawed before attempting this
- Unroll the crescent dough or puff pastry and separate into 4 rectangles.
- Seal perforations; cut each in half, making 8 squares.
- Simply cut the puff pastry into 8 squares with a knife or pizza cutter.
How to Make different Designs with Puff Pastry
To give the puff pastry a layered look, use a sharp knife to outline a rectangle inside each piece. See above.
Beat 4 oz cream cheese with 1/4 c. confectioners’ sugar, spread 1 TBsp diagonally across each square. Top with 1 TBsp. Jam (Any flavor your family enjoys)

Pinch opposite corners of dough over filling to seal for one look or bake them flat for the layered breakfast pastry look.
Bake on Parchment paper-lined baking sheets at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
