When taking food photography; consider your lighting. This can be challenging if you are going to dinner or it’s winter and you want to photograph your dinner. Good Lighting is essential, and natural lighting is obviously preferred. Move your dish to a window at home or consider going to lunch if you need to post about a restaurant. Never use your flash, it you can help it!
Next thing to consider about taking good food photography with a cell composition. Negative space helps draw a viewer’s attention to the food. Leave some room for the table space around or maybe some ingredients in the background.
Be creative and choose appetizing and good-looking food. Unfortunately, not all food is photogenic. Thanks to digital photography you can take as many photos as you like. Delete is an amazing feature in modern photography.
