My  husband and I do not watch much TV during the week. Most of the TV that is on in our house is a sports game. Over the past few years there have not been that many TV series that we have committed ourselves to watching. While you have the convenience of a DVR you would think it would be full of shows. It wasn’t until This is Us started last year that we now look forward to watching the show together. While the show is set about a decade after I was born there are still a lot of relatable scenes and music that keeps us drawn in after easy episode.

My family would say I am a crier and This is Us is definitely a tear jerker that keeps you hooked in. Mandy Moore is also an amazing performer from her acting to her musical talents. Speaking of music,  have you really listened to the music of the series. The series is so well scored and you really need rewatch an episode to actually find all the true meanings.

    Every time I watched the show i wanted to go look for a soundtrack, this is a must. I bet it really takes you through the emotions of the show.

    I must admit I don’t recall much of the music. I haven’t finished season one, I’ve only seen 3 episodes and they were months ago. I have to remember to catch up.

    Wouldn’t you know that I’ve never seen an episode of This Is Us? People keep telling me that I’m missing so much, but I DO NOT LIKE CRYING! LOL! This playlist looks great though! Unless it makes me cry!

    I don’t watch this is us, but my teen daughter does and loves it too! I will have to ask her what her favorite song from season one is, but for me, I will go with Uptight by Stevie Wonder. That’s a great song to pop on while cleaning!
