Best Unlimited Text Talk and Data Plans to keep in Touch Over the Holidays

This shop about the Lowest priced Unlimited plans to keep in touch with relatives during the holidays has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. My husband and I moved to Virginia right after our honeymoon with the intention of moving back to Chicago in about 2 years. Well we just celebrated our 15th anniversary and still live in Virginia. Getting home for the holidays with 3 kids is difficult and pricey and we need a good unlimited talk text and data plan.

Both my husband and I grew up in families that the grandparents lived within an hour or our homes so we were able to spend time with each other. Obviously things are different now and we have family members in four area codes and 3 states. So having access to our family members is important and sharing photos and texts helps us keep in touch despite are busy schedules.

My daughter just got a simple texting phone from Walmart Family Plan so we thought we would digitize her with the ZTE Zinger ($39.88), and the $39.88/month Unlimited Talk, Text & Web service plan. Since we already had a phone with Walmart Family Mobile we did not have to  purchase the $25.00 starter kit.

The transition to the new service took only minutes. All they did was change the SIM card from one phone to the next. I was so impressed with the convenience of this. My daughter had not saved her contacts to her SIM card but fortunately she did not have that many to retrieve.

Now that she has a smart phone, she can download all the apps to help keep friends and relatives that are far away closer to home. With simple texts to say hello:  You can’t see it very well

To sharing photos on Instagram we will never feel so out of touch with our family members. Having unlimited Data is also plus and cheaper than many other sharing plans.

We bought a very basic smart phone for our daughter but check out the other great Walmart rollbacks of two of the Walmart Family Plan phones (beginning 11/4):

  • LGL90-$119.88 (WAS $179.88)
  • GSIII- $199.88 (WAS $299.88)

We are so #Thankful4Savings this holiday season that we can save money on our cell phone bill and buy plane tickets to visit family members.
