School has started as technically the holiday season of entertaining has begun as well. From Halloween to Valentine’s Day there is a non-st0p flux of reasons to have friends and family over. Halloween is by far my favorite and will often do a few different events thru the season. Since my daughter’s birthday is Oct 2nd, this usually marks the start of getting the Halloween decorations out. This year she is having a few friends for dinner and I decided to make it Halloween themed for fun and to keep it simple. I headed to our Martins food store for Easy Halloween Entertaining Ideas and One Stop Shopping. I can’t wait to share some of the fun stuff we found and easy ways to serve them.
At our store we found this section filled with Limited Time Original Pumpkin Products in one section as well as other products spread throughout the store. Gheir Limited Time Original offering is a year-round brand initiative that takes popular, season specific flavors and creates fun, imaginative products that last only as long as they stay on our shelves! https://ooh.li/b10b571 https://ooh.li/39c51b7

We bought some Pumpkin Hummus and decided to create a fun appetizer. You will need an orange pepper, hummus and soft tortillas.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and using cookie cutters, cut out Halloween Shaped tortilla pieces. Spray them with cooking spray and sprinkle with kosher salt.
Bake for 5 minutes and allow to cool completely.
Cut the top off of you pepper. Take out the seeds. Cut out a jack-o-lateen face. Line the pepper with some lettuce.
Fill with your pumpkin Hummus and serve with your baked tortilla chips.
