As part of the Stubb’s Insider Program I receive promotional products in return for this post. All opinions are 100% my own.
This winter has proven to be a cold one, especially in Central Virginia where we have not seen temperatures this low since the early 90’s. I know I was raised in Chicago, but my blood has thinned and this is no fun. To look at the silver lining, cold weather is a great excuse to bring out your Slow cookers and create some comfort food. I recently tried out the Stubb’s Cooking Sauces when I made this Slow Cooker Chili. This time I tried their BBQ Sauce and frozen Chicken breasts to create this Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken Sandwiches.
Stubb’s Cookin’ Sauce comes in a few more flavors then when I originally posted. But due to their spiciness we went with the BBQ Slider sauce for our first go around. Plus who could resist the description of Molasses and brown sugar mix with premium spices to give a thick and rich flavor that delivers the taste of true Texas barbecue. All sauces are Gluten-free, just double check before purchasing.
Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken Sandwiches
This is such an easy recipe that you can even use frozen chicken breasts. I prefer to use a slow cooker liner for easy clean up. Throw in a few quartered onions to round off the flavors of your Pulled Chicken Sliders.
Just throw in the ingredients, and you can go about your day not worrying what’s for dinner.
When it was time for dinner I simply cut up the chicken breasts right in the crock pot.
Then simply add the finishing sauce and stir until all the meat is covered.
Serve with a side of Cole Slaw, your favorite buns and extra Stubb’s BBQ sauce.
Not only is this a flavorful Slow Cooker meal, but it could not be easier. Knowing that Stubb’s Cookin’ sauces are all natural makes it even easier to serve it to my family.
We made the Smokehouse Bourbon sauce with a beef roast, but due to the lighting at dinner, I did not capture a photo and there was not any left to take a shot the next day…
These have all been a hit in our house, which one would you like to try first?
