Refreshing Bourbon Slush Summer Cocktail Recipe

Refreshing Bourbon Slush Summer Cocktail Recipe

My husband has converted me to a bourbon fan. We have created some fun bourbon drinks and Bourbon Dessert recipes in the past but this one takes the lead. A friend sent me a link to a bourbon slushy recipe and I knew I had to try it.

My husband has turned me on to Bourbon.  I am not quite sure how that started but now when I go out to a restaurant and check out the cocktail menu, I am seeking a yummy drink with Bourbon.  Unlike him, I can not drink it on the rocks but with a fruity mix, I am on in.

For these Iced Tea Slushy drinks, we used the Iced Passion Herbal Tea Concentrate. The only waiting time with this drink is allowing the mixture to freeze. The recipe suggests a minimum of 4 hours but this was not enough for this drink. It is best if you have time to make them the night before.

  1. There are several things that I love about this post. 1 ice t are great tasty amazing. 2 how elegant it can be displayed in a glass with a nice straw. Love it thanks for sharing.

  2. I know it was even better the longer it was in the freezer.

  3. Now I could see that getting me into trouble. Looks really good, though, and definitely worth it.

  4. I’m not a bourbon drinker but would love to try any of the TAZO Tea concentrates without it or maybe make some kind of Long Island Iced Tea out of it? Its worth a try! I’ll keep an eye out for these next time I’m grocery shopping!

  5. This looks so refreshing and yummy. I don’t care for bourbon (although I’ve never actually tried it), but I’m going to make this with vodka. Thanks for the idea!

  6. This would make a great summer night treat (for adults ). I would like to taste the Iced Passion one first.

  7. I think that is the best Passion tea recipe I’ve seen! I’m not a huge bourbon fan but the sangria version is right up my alley. I’ll have to make this for my next girls night in!
