Since our Slutty Brownie recipe has been such a success we decided to take it up a notch for the chocolate lovers in the audience.  Of course, whichever Oreo Brownies you bring to your next party either one is the perfect dessert to feed a crowd.

Both portable and easy to make ahead of time, Oreo Brownie Recipe will be devoured.  If you really want to take it up a notch, plop a scoop of vanilla ice cream and hot fudge sauce and eat them with a fork.  

You must know by now, we love easy recipes as well as those that are from scratch.  When I need to bring a dessert to feed a crowd I want it to be good but something I can make one or two pans full and not that expensive or time-consuming. 

How we made these Triple Chocolate Oreo Brownies

 

 

Instead of the traditional chocolate chip cookie base, we used a Double chocolate chip cookie mix.  The mix we used had chunks of chocolate with a chocolate cookie batter.  Use your favorite recipe or buy the premade Cookie Mix. 

 

 

Spread it carefully in a prepared 9×13 pan.  This is truly the hardest part of the entire recipe.  Not sure if it was the large chips or the amount of batter in the mix. 

 

Once you have an even layer of cookie dough, top with chocolate stuffed Oreos.  Any brand will work.  We fit 20 cookies evenly on our cookie dough.

 

The last step, pour the brownie batter evenly over the cookies.   If your box provides fudge-like brownies or a cake like brownies, I would use the cake-like recipe.  

Then Bake according to the brownie box checking with a toothpick for doneness. 

Allow the Oreo Cookie Brownies to cool then cut the brownies in the desired size. There is no need to cut around the Oreo’s they actually look great when the OREO is cut into each slice and you know exactly what you are eating.
