With the abundant variety of ball ornaments on the market, it is super easy and fun to make a wreath to support your favorite team. In honor of the Army Navy Game this weekend, I had to make a Navy Wreath.
Ornament wreaths are simple to make and come together in under an hour. Don’t forget our Army Navy Dessert we made last year.
What you need to make a Team Inspired Ornament Wreath (Army Navy Game)
We already had a grapevine wreath in our attic so that is what we made this wreath with. You can use a straw wreath base as well, you would just have to wrap it with ribbon first.
We found an assortment of blue and gold sizes and shapes of shatterproof ornaments at Walmart.
Get the kids involved and take off the tops of all the ornaments before starting this project.
Navy’s symbol is the letter N so we purchased a thin wooden N at a local craft store.
Using a hot glue gun, simply attach the ornaments around the wreath form.
Leave space to add your painted letter if you chose to use one. Obviously you don’t need to do this for a sports team, simply use your initial.
Done in less than an hour this Team Inspired Ornament Wreath came together nicely. So GO Navy, Beat Army.
What team will you be rooting for this weekend?
