Letting your teacher know you are thinking about them and are grateful for them watching over your kids, does not take much money or effort.  Make these adorable post it note holders for Teacher Appreciation Week.
 
These adorable and useful teacher appreciation gifts can be made for under $5.  Back in 2012, I found this adorable note holder from DomesticatedLady.com. (no longer a valid URL)  You can download and print the template right at home at the bottom of this post. 

 
The first time I made these, I chose to have them printed at Kinkos since I was out of cardstock. I also like that fact that it will not run if it gets wet!! ($1 optional). The key is to have cardstock if you are printing them on your home computer for the thickness.

Here is the price break down for this DIY POST IT NOTE GIFTproject:

 
I purchased the 5×7 acrylic frame holder, withstand, at Target for  $1.99. This time I found them at AC Moore for only $1.    You can probably find them cheaper at Walmart. They only had 3×5 at my dollar store.

A package of 4 sticky notes cost $2 (so 50 cents each)
Grand total 3.50 max. I was thinking of adding a sharpie with some Velcro dots but never got that far. I simply added a pen for effect!
